Port of San Diego Festival of Sail
September 2nd through 6th, 2010!

Set sail for the Big Bay. The Port of San Diego Festival of Sail, hosted by the Maritime Museum of San Diego, transforms the North Embarcadero on San Diego Bay into a nautical theme park. More than twenty historic, tall ships and other amazing vessels from around the world are visiting San Diego September 2-6.

Come aboard for ship tours, cannon battles, pirates, kids zone and more. There will be food and drink from dozens of restaurant booths, a petting zoo and shopping for one-of-a-kind items among more than 100 festival vendors. The festival kicks off with the parade of the tall ships on San Diego Bay at 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 2.

Festival Passports are for sale now on the Maritime Museum’s website and will also be for sale at the festival. Visitors must purchase a tall ships passport ticket to tour the festival ships. Passports are an exceptional value at only $15 for adults and $10 for children (12 and under), seniors (62 and over) and active military (valid identification required). Passports include entrance to the Maritime Museum of San Diego during the event. Entrance to visit the vendor area is free. For information and tickets go to the museum’s website, www.sdmaritime.org.
